In addition, he is the #1 US AMS IPP implanter over the last ten years, #1 published author on IPPs in the world over the last ten years, has won best clinical abstract at two national meetings, and has written 5 Journal of Urology CME articles on men’s health of which one was a cover article.

Dr. Henry is also the inventor of the Henry Mummy Wrap, Henry Finger Sweep, and New Length Measurement Technique. Currently, he is secretary of the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons and president-elect of the Louisiana Urology Society.

Atlanta, GA board-certified urologist Dr. Tariq S. Hakky is a world-renowned microsurgeon implementing the latest techniques and innovative treatments in men’s sexual health today. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and Baylor College of Medicine fellowship-trained in male infertility and andrology. He is the owner and founder of Atlanta Cosmetic Urology and accepts patients of all genders desiring to improve urologic issues, sexual dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, hormonal imbalances, weight-related issues, and more. Dr. Hakky has appeared as a guest on television shows (such as The Doctors), podcasts, and videos specifically about the latest topics in urology. Graduating at the top of his class, Dr. Hakky earned his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, FL with high honors. He then went on to additionally train in the male infertility/andrology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. This is where he honed valuable skills in improving men’s sexual health issues, like infertility, erectile dysfunction, penile implants, and hormone replacement therapy. As he trained at Baylor, one of the leading medical centers in the country, Dr. Hakky  provided care for many men with symptoms of low testosterone, which is another area of his specialties. In this fellowship, Dr. Hakky also studied to master the most advanced microsurgical vasectomy reversal techniques that less than 1% of urologists can perform. Today, he is known as one of the leaders in urology for microscopic male infertility procedures and vasectomy reversal microsurgery.
Dr. Hakky has received numerous awards for his work as a board-certified urologist in Atlanta, GA, including the 2018 Vitals Patient’s Choice Award as one of Georgia’s favorite physicians, the 2018 Compassionate Doctor Award, and the 2018 America’s Most Honored Professionals (Top 1%).

Dr. Joel L. Marmar has had a distinguished career practicing and teaching urology spanning nearly 40 years. A graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Dr. Marmar retired from Cooper University Hospital in 2013 after 41 years of service, including 26 years as Division Head. He was a Professor of Surgery and Urology at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Dr. Marmar has been very involved in performing and training others in no-scalpel vasectomy techniques and in vasectomy reversal, both in the US and throughout the world.


Dr. Marmar is an author of AUA Vasectomy Guidelines published in 2012. He is the developer of the “In-Line Vasectomy (ILV)” technique – an improved method for performing a no-scalpel vasectomy. His patented devices for ILV are commercially available. A recognized leader in the field of male infertility for many years, Dr. Marmar has published over 60 scientific papers in peer review journals. In addition, he continues to review for several medical journals, and he was cited as a top “Reviewer” for the journal “Urology”, 2015-16. He is the recipient of many awards and a member of numerous urological societies.


Until recently, Dr. Marmar was the Director of Men’s Health Services for Planned Parenthood on Central and Southern New Jersey. Dr. Marmar has advised on the bipolar Signati vasectomy device virtually since its inception, and performed the rabbit study that demonstrated its effectiveness.

Rahul Mehan, MD, is the founder of East Valley Urology (EVU) Center in Mesa, Arizona, and a board-certified urologist focusing on urologic oncology. He has extensive training in testicular, renal, prostate, and bladder cancers at EVU Center. He is a skilled surgeon and dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality medical care.

Dr. Mehan retained his certification from the American Board of Urology and is affiliated with Banner Baywood Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in the Phoenix area. He is a published author with articles appearing in The Journal of UrologyⓇ and the Journal of Pediatric Urology. Dr. Mehan presents at regional and national meetings on a variety of urologic topics, including a presentation on testicular cancer using his original research at the American Urological Association’s 2011 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Mehan completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and received his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Following his graduation, Dr. Mehan completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at the Indiana University School of Medicine located on the campus of Purdue University.

In addition to providing quality care to his patients, Dr. Mehan enjoys playing basketball and tennis and has a passion for the outdoors. He loves spending time with his family.

Tony provides consulting services to the medical device industry and has more than 25 years of senior executive medical device experience. As VP and General Manager for Covidien’s Custom Solutions Division, he ran a $250 million-dollar division and had P&L responsibility for markets outside the Hospital and Alternate Site. He has held senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and manufacturing with direct responsibility for developing and directing growth strategy into non-hospital markets including Medical OEM, Animal Health, Rehab and Dental Markets. Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Framingham State University MA. He completed the Babson College MA. Corp Entrepreneurship Program. Tony is also a Licensed U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain.

Drew Blum

Drew is currently self-employed with investments in various real estate and business entities. Formerly he was the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Allied Frozen Storage, Inc. As CEO, Drew managed all finance and tax related matters for the company and indirectly oversaw the management of all warehousing and non-warehousing operations. Additionally, he was responsible for all facets of Allied’s real estate activities including sales, leasing, acquisitions, site selection, financing, and brokerage. He is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a Finance degree in Business Administration. He has over 35 years of experience in a variety of financial, appraisal, and facilities management positions and has held a Series 7 Brokerage license, NYS Certified General Appraiser license, MAI real estate appraisal designation and RPA property management designation.

John has been in the medical/surgical arena for more than 25 years as a proven sales leader, starting as a surgical sales representative and working up to executive management. He has represented companies including Conmed/Linvatec, where he was awarded Representative of the Year, Biomet, Dilon Technologies, Orthovita, and was Director of Sales for Benxyla Health. In 2005 John formed Maloney Medical Sales, a medical/surgical products distributor, and has hired, trained and guided many successful representatives. He has extensive experience in building and managing sales organizations as well as introducing new technologies to the medical community. John is a graduate of Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.

Bob is the inventor/developer of the Signati Medical noninvasive vasectomy procedure. Bob works with medical device companies and collaborates with surgeons and scientists in fields including ENT, urology, sports medicine, women’s health and general surgery. He specializes in the development, patenting, and licensing of innovative single-use devices. He is an inventor with more than 60 patents and has additional patents pending. Protected products include arthroscopy shavers, ablation devices for ENT and urology, implant systems for soft tissue repair, vasectomy methods and devices, and methods for rotator cuff repair. Bob is a journeyman tool and die maker and degreed engineer trained and experienced in advanced manufacturing methods. Since 2001, Bob has been an independent inventor and developer of medical devices.

Prior to joining Signati Medical, Nick was partner and principal at Precision Global Medical Solutions (PGMS), a boutique consulting firm specializing in the development of sales and marketing strategies and sales distributorship opportunities for start-up companies across the medical industry. At PGMS, Nick led the coordination and implementation of best sales practices and developed commercialization strategies for start-up medical device companies. Nick has more than 15 years’ experience selling, managing, and implementing sales strategies across a diverse platform in the medical arena. Nick has a B.S. in Rehabilitation from Springfield College.

Prior to being a Board Member of Signati Medical, Warren joined AngioDynamics as the Senior Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Before joining AngioDynamics, Warren was a quality and regulatory consultant to clients in FDA-regulated industries, specializing in execution and management of quality systems implementation, remediation and product approvals. Previously, Warren served as the Executive Vice President of Global Clinical, Quality Affairs a Regulatory Affairs at Haemonetics Corporation, Vice President of Quality/Regulatory/Clinical/Technical Services at St. Jude Medical’s Atrial Fibrillation Division, and Corporate Vice President of Quality/Compliance at Tyco Healthcare/Covidien (Medtronic). Warren earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences.

Bill leads the Signati Medical funding efforts. He is a consultant who brings his Wall Street experience to mainstream business. Formerly the Co-Head of Pershing’s over-the-counter trading desk, Bill is known for his unparalleled ability to read people and markets and take decisive action. At Nasdaq, Bill helps open doors and close deals. His ability to see through obstacles and bridge people together has made him an asset across multiple industries and departments.

Brian T. Dougan, Esquire, is a founding partner of Cifra, Gibson & Dougan, LLP, a northeast regional law firm. He practices corporate/transactional law and civil litigation and has worked in matters involving fortune 500 companies including breach of contract, premises liability, employment law, and corporate structure. Mr. Dougan is an accomplished trial attorney with significant trial verdicts to his credit. He has written and presented on legal topics related to insurance defense, civil procedure, and corporate structure. Mr. Dougan is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations and the Trial Lawyers Association of America. He earned his J.D. from University of Dayton (OH) and his B.S. from University of Florida and is admitted to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Dr. Pannell is the inventor of the Signati Medical noninvasive vasectomy procedure. He is currently the Surgical Clerkship Director of The Medical College of Georgia Southwest Clinical Campus. He also serves as the Chairman of the Crisp Regional Hospital Authority and The Crisp County Board of Health. Although his career has been primarily devoted to caring for major trauma patients and managing general and vascular surgical problems, he never forgot the young mother who died while he was a medical student. Following a complicated pregnancy, she was undergoing a procedure to ligate the fallopian tubes and had an anesthetic complication. Dr. Pannell became a strong advocate for vasectomies in family planning and has worked diligently to promote the acceptance of male sterilization procedures which are less complicated and dangerous than female surgery.

Jim has 40 years of accounting and finance experience. He spent the majority of his career at a Fortune 1000 manufacturing company, including 19 years as the Vice President, Corporate Controller. Jim has a well-rounded background that includes financial reporting and analysis, SEC reporting, acquisition and divestiture analysis, treasury management, currency and precious metal hedging, cost accounting, internal audit and accounting system implementations. For the last several years, Jim has been working as an independent consultant, primarily serving firms in the medical industry. Jim is a graduate of Miami University majoring in accounting and finance, and is a non-practicing CPA.

Matt has over 25 years of experience within the medical device industry, most recently as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Medtronic where he was responsible for the Animal Health, Dental, Consumer and Sports Medicine markets, generating more than $100 Million in annual revenue. Prior to Medtronic, Matt worked in the Medical OEM group at Tyco Healthcare and Covidien’s Custom Products Solutions Division where he successfully integrated and developed the manufacturing capabilities of several acquired companies into new marketing and sales opportunities and oversaw the rapid growth of the Medical OEM business from $26 Million to $125 Million. Matt also held the positions as Production Manager and Plant Manager with Tyco Healthcare where he was responsible for all phases of manufacturing and management associated with the Urology, Respiratory, and Wound Care products produced at their manufacturing facility located in Cumberland, RI. Matt earned an MBA from Bryant College, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Rhode Island College.

Richard has been in the medical device industry for over 15 years. For the last 6 years he has worked with urologists where his focus has been providing surgical solutions for men’s sexual health. Richard has been involved in multiple facets of the medical device industry including sales, traditional and digital marketing, product evaluations, and launches. He has helped to develop patient education and awareness campaigns on regional and national levels, and works with KOL’s to improve surgical techniques. Richard has been recognized and awarded multiple times throughout his career for sales and leadership accomplishments including membership of field advisory boards, field sales trainer, and Champion’s Club recipient. He is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a marketing degree in business administration.

Andrew Catano has 18 years of experience in the medical device sales arena. As the head of Baciari Medical, a distribution company, he offers energy based technologies for a wide range of aesthetic modalities.

Andrew has experienced success with sales and development with I-Flow Corporation, Boston Scientific Neuromodulation, Millennium Laboratories and Palomar Aesthetic Lasers. He has extensive experience with start-up companies with a specialty in expanding territories and regions. Andy’s passion is introducing new and innovative technologies to market. He is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware Ohio.
